SHADOWHUNTER'S CODEX Sneak Peek of the First Few Pages from Simonteen

Earlier today, Cassandra Clare gave us a sneak peek of the first page on Shadowhunter names, and now, Simonteen has started releasing snippets from the book. Simonteen will start releasing snippets each day until the day of the release -Oct. 29. Here are the first few pages (click to englarge):

 

 

A lot of Shadowhunters were also wondering what the difference is between The Shadowhunter's Codex hardcover and the limited edition. Cassandra Clare explains that:

The regular Codex has all the art and the text but not colored. So the differences are the velvet slipcase (a case you can slide the book out of), and gold Cup, the gold pages and ribbon, etc. It’s basically a really beautiful object. But the regular version is pretty too and contains no less information! So it’s really up to you what you want.
